ALLUVAL COLLECTIVE

Event Promotion, Giveaways, & Organization Updates

Formerly known as The William Winter Institute for Racial Reconciliation, the Alluvial Collective prioritizes connecting people and communities to resources they can use to grow and build inclusive environments in Mississippi.

Since September 2021, I've managed the Alluvial Collective's marketing, and also helped them rename an rebrand their organization. I've managed over 75,000 sends while maintaining an open rate 15% above industry standard. 

MISSISSIPPI BLACK WOMEN'S ROUNDTABLE

Event Promotion, Fundraising, & Monthly Newsletters

MS BWR connects Black women in Mississippi to tools and resources they can use to drive civic engagement and advocacy in their communities.

 

While working at Creative Distillery, I managed their entire email marketing platform, executing over 45,000 sends in the first 90 days. By the end of 2024, I had increased their open rate average by 3%, executed over 215,000 sends and developed newsletters for event promotions, news, and monthly updates to their subscribers.

THE WOMEN'S FOUNDATION OF MISSISSIPPI

Event Promotion, Fundraising, & Monthly Newsletters

The Women's Foundation of Mississippi (WFM) is a nonprofit organization that improves the lives of women across the state through grant-making and supporting local initiatives that put women first.

Since March 2022, I've managed the WFM's email marketing and fundraising, generating over $20,000 in revenue and finding great success in promoting events, and developing exclusive content for paid subscribers in the form of flyersprintouts, interviews, and event snapshots. 

CUPS ESPRESSO CAFÉ

Bi-Weekly to Monthly Newsletters

Cups is a Mississippi-based coffee franchise based on a love of art, coffee, and community.

I managed their newsletters and email marketing until October 2023 while working at Creative Distillery, executing over 174,000 sends and growing the number of subscribers by 15%. Each newsletter is crafted with care and filled with the same fun, Southern charm that's found in every one of their stores.

UPROOT MISSISSIPPI

Monthly Newsletter

UProot is a community-focused organization that works to improve Mississippi's health through data and research. They achieve this by convening over 90 partner organizations with the help of the Mississippi State Department of Health.

 

I managed their email marketing from September 2021 to October 2023. Each newsletter uplifts the good work happening in local Mississippi communities, while sharing insights for boosting well-being and state health. 

THE CHILDREN'S FOUNDATION OF MISSISSIPPI

Monthly Newsletter

The Children's Foundation of Mississippi (CFM) is an independently operating foundation that prioritizes improving systems in order to support the well-being of children in Mississippi.


From September 2021 to May 2022, I managed their email marketing, newsletter content, and online event promotions while working at Creative Distillery. 

THE CARTOGRAPHER

Bi-Monthly Newsletter

The Cartographer is the Mississippi Apprenticeship Program's bi-monthly newsletter containing information on their latest events, programs, and resources.


While working at Fahrenheit Creative Group, I managed the development of the newsletter from planning to publication, and drafted copy for most visual designs and email content.
